WHAT IS NAI BARLEY STRAW Scientific research indicates that straw can be used to CONTROL algae growth (references available).

Barley Straw does not kill algae but inhibits its growth. NAI Barley Straw’s action on controlling algae growth is dependent on oxygen rich water. It takes one to two weeks to begin its controlling action.

HOW TO USE Place bag in flowing water to allow water to flow through the mesh bag. NAI (Natural Algae Inhibitor)

Barley Straw comes in complete and convenient packaging. Use string provided to attach bag to a stone ensuring that the bag will be fully submerged. Replace bag every 3 months.
