Kryptopterus bicirrhis, often called the glass catfish, is an Asian glass catfish species of the genus Kryptopterus. Until 1989, the concept of K. bicirrhis included its smaller relative Kryptopterus vitreolus (“ghost catfish”; often confused with K. minor). Its scientific name K. bicirrhis and common name glass catfish are often still used in the aquarium fish trade to refer to the actual K. vitreolus; as it seems, the larger and more aggressive true K. bicirrhis was only ever exported in insignificant numbers

Livestock shipping only on Monday to Thursday (Thursday shipping for Gauteng only). We only use the overnight shipping class to give the best chance of safe arrival. Based on the type and number of fish selected the checkout cart will calculate the closest optimum cooler sizes and cost to ship. Please note that the shipping cost calculated is our best estimate based on past experience. - Minimum cost to ship livestock for select areas within Gauteng is R145 overnight. Other regions will be more.
- Equipment, R95 Gauteng local overnight and free for orders over R500. - R135 for Equipment to all major centres and a surcharge may be charged for remote areas or very heavy items. We always have our free in store collection option as well. See the address on our store page.
