A manufacturer develops products for consumers. Each product has a warranty statement certifying that the product has met all manufacturer, state, and federal compliance regulations regarding quality. The warranty statement covers when the product leaves the manufacturer’s warehouse for shipping. The manufacturer uses a warranty to give limited repair or replacement of products if any defects are found. The warranty also protects the manufacturer from undue liability issues outside of its control.
As the distributor, manufacturer warranties across all product lines will be honored and comprehensively covered in line with the South African CPA
Can I buy from AQUATIX if I am not a registered Partner
You may purchase directly from our site, and we will dispatch your goods from our dedicated warehouse. The prices shown are RRP incl. VAT, delivery excluded (where applicable).
NB: We do not offer support or advice on aquarium setup and maintenance, as this would place us in direct competition with some of our partners with whom we work closely. Our Partners will ensure you receive the same experience synonymous with the AQUATIX brand.

What about the availability of spares?
We stock a vast array of spares on hand. In the unfortunate event that we are out of stock, they will be ordered and readily available on an ongoing basis as frequent shipments are received from our suppliers and partners. When can we expect delivery of our backorders
We strive to maintain availability on all product lines on hand. Should any stock be on backorder, we will provide you with an ETA in logistics. Due to COVID-related delays, these time-frames may change but rest assured, we will strive for the fastest possible turnaround time.

What if I need to return a product
The returns process must begin within 30 days of delivery. The item must be unused, in the same package, and shipped in the same condition. We are not responsible for any late or damaged shipments. If 30 days have gone by since you received your purchase, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange. If 30 days have passed, please review our warranty policy to determine if replacement parts or exchanges are available within that coverage.

You will be responsible for paying your shipping costs for returning your item (except for the circumstances listed in the Defective Products and Returns Due to Our Error section of this policy). Original shipping costs are non-refundable, and all shipping costs will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are returning an item over R1500, you should consider using a trackable courier service that includes shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
To complete your return, forward a copy of your order confirmation email to customercare@aquatix.co.za and denote the item and reason for your return request.

DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS & RETURNS DUE TO OUR ERROR
In the event of a manufacturer defect, a replacement part may be sent, or the item may need to be returned. If you receive a product you did not order, we will cover the shipping costs for the item to be replaced and the correct item to be shipped.

REFUNDS
Once your return is received and inspected, we will email you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original payment method within five business days (or longer, depending on your bank).
Reasons a refund may be denied:
Item is not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts
Item is received 30 days past the delivery date

SHIPPING POLICY
After receiving your order confirmation email, all orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). You will receive another notification when your order has shipped with shipping tracking information.
How do I check the status of my order?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us, including a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
If you haven’t received your order within five days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please don’t hesitate to contact us with your name and order number, and we will investigate your order status.
Shipping to P.O. boxes
We do not support delivery to P.O. boxes. Please consider this when providing a delivery address to ensure prompt delivery.
Refunds, returns, and exchanges
We accept returns within 30 days after your delivery date if the item is unused, in the same package, and in the same condition that you received it in. To learn more about our Return Policy, click here to learn more.
All risk of goods sold by AQUATIX to the customer shall pass on delivery thereof.
Ownership of goods sold and delivered shall remain vested in AQUATIX until the total purchase price has been paid, in breach of these terms and conditions by the customer.
Suppose the customer is sequestrated or placed under liquidation, judicial management, or commits any act of insolvency or enters into any compromise with its creditors or fails to satisfy a judgement granted against it within 7 (seven) days of the date of judgement or changes the structure of its ownership. In that case, AQUATIX shall be entitled to possession of the goods without prejudice.
Any further rights vested in AQUATIX will irrevocably be authorized to enter upon the customer’s premises to take possession of such goods without a Court order.
